Torch Crooked Creek Ride, February10th 2007

If one word could be used to sum up the ride at Crooked Creek on February 10, it would have to be "Tremendous". The weather was perfect; the trail conditions were the best we have ever seen at Crooked Creek and the fellowship was awesome. We had about a dozen riders show up, met a couple of new riders on the trail, and even introduced a new rider to the sport. As usual David and Lori were fantastic hosts!

We rode close to 50 miles and were able to hit just about every trail at least once. Thanks to Clayton we all got to ride "Twisted Off" first in order to fully test out our bark busters and our ability to handle creek crossings and logs. The trails were super tacky and the corners had well defined berms. This made for excellent hook-up, fast riding, and turns that were like riding on rails. Lots of fun!

Thanks to everyone who made it out and made it a terrific day. To those unable to ride with us this time, please try to make it out to a future ride and tell your friends. We'd love to see you!
